The First Visit
Brief Paperwork
When entering the office, we will have some brief paperwork for you to fill out. This paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.
History & Examination
Once the paperwork has been completed, you will discuss with the doctor your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options.
In order to determine what your actual problem is, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition.
Next, a number of specialized tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.
X-Rays & Review of Findings
Your specific condition may require us to take x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. We will go over the x-rays in detail
and explain what we find.
Treatment
Once finished with the examination and all appropriate studies, patients will generally be provided with their first treatment during this same visit. This may include spinal adjustments and/or soft tissue therapies.
